Departmental Library LEG (Food, Nutrition & Health, location Kulmbach)
The specialized library of our faculty is located on the second floor of Alte Spinnerei. It is also accessible to authorized persons without staff outside regular opening hours.
There are 16 workstations and a lounge area with several seats available. The sound-absorbing booths are equipped with sockets and USB ports. Height-adjustable workstations ensure ergonomic working.
Two self-checkout terminals can be used to borrow items also when there is no staff present. The return box outside the library is always available for returning items. Printing, copying and scanning are also possible. A Book-Eye-Scanner enables easy digitization of book material.
A large proportion of the media can be ordered from the libraries on the Campus in Bayreuth to Kulmbach and vice versa. There is a wide selection of specialist literature available.

The library usually is open from Monday to Friday from 08:00 - 15:00. From 15:00 - 19:30, access is only possible with a library card/campus card.
