The Site Kulmbach
Kulmbach is a large district town in the middle of Upper Franconia, lying at the confluence of the Red and White Main about 20 km north of Bayreuth. The city is located in the middle of the Kulmbach district.
Centre of food
The city hosts the headquarters of several medium-sized and some globally operating companies in the food industry. In addition, Kulmbach is home to research institutes and authorities in the food sector, among them:
