A Look into our Practical Labs

We attach great importance to the practical training of our students. For this reason, all natural science modules of the degree programmes “Lebensmittel- und Gesundheitswissenschaften (B.Sc.)”, “Food Quality and Safety (M.Sc.)” and "Food System Sciences (M.Sc.)" include a comprehensive laboratory practical.

Since Spring 2022, the University of Bayreuth has had its own laboratories in Kulmbach that are specially equipped for teaching. Under qualified supervision, our students learn modern laboratory techniques and analytical methods which they can then apply to their own exciting experiments.
